BCAST ReLaunched: Recasting our future at Brunel University London. The event opened by Brunel’s Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Julia Buckingham, provided Brunel staff members with the opportunity to gain an understanding of the research that takes place within BCAST and how we have developed unique relationships with industrial companies such as Constellium. Prof Fan, Director of BCAST and Martin Jarrett, Operational Excellence & Technology Director, Constellium, presented to the audience before taking part in a Q&A session.
Following on from the presentations, staff members had the opportunity to visit the ‘two big sheds’ on campus, the Advanced Metal Casting Centre (AMCC) and Advanced Metal Processing Centre (AMPC) to learn more about the equipment and capabilities available within BCAST.
