On November 8th BCAST and the IOM3 Casting and Solidification Society hosted a DC Casting demonstration of aluminium alloys as part of the TMS 2017 Aluminum Cast Shop Science and Technology Course. The demonstration was executed in the Advanced Metal Casting Centre (AMCC) by BCASTs industrial partner Constellium and formed one day of the five day course that covers the science and technology of key cast shop processes for primary and secondary aluminium smelters.
