Award details
The Brunel Graduate Discount is available for self-funding applicants who have previously studied at Brunel University London and Graduated (achieved their intended award), who register for any subsequent degree programme.
Value: 15% discount on the net tuition fee (i.e. the tuition fee after the application of any scholarship or bursary fee waivers).
How many: Unlimited, the Graduate Discount is awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria.
Application process: The Brunel Graduate Discount does not require an application. Our alumni applicants are automatically assessed once they hold an offer of a place and if eligible the discount will be applied automatically to their student record at the point of registration.
Eligibility
2.1 The discount will be awarded to those applicants who are:
- Registering on a further undergraduate programme, postgraduate taught programme, a doctoral or postgraduate research programme, online programme delivered by a third party, the PGCE programme and the Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE).
- Considered 'self-funded' - eligible students, who are attending University on a self-funding basis and are responsible for paying their own tuition fees in full. Students, who are funding their studies with an SLC Postgraduate Master’s Loan or a scholarship/bursary fee waiver are considered self-funding for the purpose of this discount.

2.2 Those not eligible for this discount:
- Applicants NOT classed as 'self-funded' - students whose tuition fees are paid by a third party, either partially or in full, are not usually eligible for the graduate discount. Please refer to the Student Financial Policy (1.5.1) for further information.
- Applicants who have been awarded one of the following awards:
- The Postgraduate International Bursary;
- The Vice Chancellor's Excellence Award.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
In addition Brunel graduates who have achieved a first class undergraduate degree may receive both the Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship and the Brunel Graduate Discount – a total discount of approx. 27.5%.
