Social Work Seminar Series: The end of civilised society?

With politics in flux and claims of the end of austerity headlining in the news, Paul Atherton explains the reality of living in a Britain with a decimated social security system.

Paul Atherton is a London based Film & Television Producer who specialises in social commentary documentary. Subjects he has covered include racism, feminism, prostitution and domestic violence. His works have been premiered in as diverse locations as the Leicester Square Odeon to the Museum of London and he remains to be the only person to have screened a film on the Coca-Cola Billboard at Piccadilly Circus. Paul suffers with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, has been homeless for the past ten years and gets DWP support for his disability.
