Dr Pam Alldred of the Social Work division at Brunel (pictured, with co-editor Fin Cullen), were guests of honour a reception at Newman University, Birmingham on 21st September to mark the UK launch of the newly-published SAGE Handbook of Youth Work Practice (edited by Alldred, Cullen, Edwards and Fusco).  The reception took place as part of the International Seminar on Youth Work Education, a prestigious gathering of lecturers and experts from the UK, Norway and Latvia.

The Handbook comprises forty-four chapters from leading authors on the politics and practice of professional youth work in over twenty countries and will be a key resource for academic, policy and practitioner audiences.

Further details of the contents, reviews and a preview are available via the SAGE website
