Student Ambassador team

Our friendly and enthusiastic team of Student Ambassadors can tell you and your students all about student life at Brunel, the great opportunities on offer and preparing for university.

Two hundred of our current students from a range of courses make up our Student Ambassador team. They’re trained and full of enthusiasm to talk to prospective students and parents. Our Ambassadors give a real insight into student life and all of the opportunities that university offers. They are also very passionate about being part of #TeamBrunel!

The scheme has been running for over 15 years, and as well as being great for our prospective students, it’s an opportunity for the Ambassadors to gain a range of valuable skills and paid work alongside their degree.

Ambassadors can support your students in lots of ways:

  • Student life talks on campus and in your school/college
  • Student Q&A panels on campus and in your school/college
  • Campus and accommodation tours
  • Higher education fairs in your school/college and UCAS exhibitions

Our Back to School Ambassador programme links Ambassadors with their old school or college to talk about the transition to university life, their course and student experience at Brunel.

Contact us to book an Ambassador, or to see if one of your past students is on the team, to visit you and talk about their university experience so far.

"Student Ambassadors play an important role, as we create rapports with prospective students and inform them of what Brunel has to offer, both academically and through extra-curricular activities"

"It’s very inspiring to talk to students who are in the same situation that I was in a few years back, and help them realise how exciting the future is going to be!"

"Taking a campus tour can become the defining moment when a student chooses their future university - there’s nothing like visiting a great campus and getting all the insides from a current student"
