About this website

Brunel University launched its new website on Monday 18 October 2010 - the first stage of an ambitious web development programme that will see the complete redesign of all our external and internal websites.

A new content management system has been implemented alongside the redesign to enable us to deliver more interactive content, and to provide a more consistent approach to maintaining the University's web presence.

About the Project

After an extensive procurement exercise the University selected MySource Matrix as the content management system to deliver the site, and we have worked closely with Squiz UK on the new site design and improvements to the navigation and information architecture.

As the October launch marks the end of the first phase of the rollout of the new design and system we're keen to get your feedback, especially on the overall design concept, the look-and-feel of the new homepage, and how you are finding navigating around the site. We've set up a quick blog so that you can submit comments, and we'll try to respond to as many as we can.

More content will be released on the new website over the coming months as we move all Schools and Services to the new system. We will also be including new functionality as the site develops, for instance greater use of embedded multimedia content. We'll use this webpage to keep you updated on developments of future phases of the project.
