Summary

I have worked in the public sector for 30 years, across a variety of clinical, research and management positions in health and education in London. I am an Honorary Professor of Occupational Therapy at Brunel and my permanent substantive post is as Associate Dean of Research & Enterprise based at St George's Campus, University of London in South London https://www.healthcare.ac.uk/staff/professor-priscilla-harries-phd-msc-dipcot-fhea-frcot/

My research is in the fields of clinical decision making, expertise development and intuition. I have held competitively funded grants, awarded by Wellcome Trust, UK Research Councils, Professional bodies, NHS Charitable Trusts and Health Education England.

I am an UoA 3 Subpanel member 2021 (criteria and assessment stages), Fellow of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, Chair of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) R&D Board, Vice Chair of RCOT, an appointed HEE/NIHR Clinical Academic mentor, and a panel member for the NIHR HTA and NIHR Clinical Doctorate Fellows Panel.
