Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?
I completed my LLM in International Commercial Law at Brunel University London in 2024. After graduation, I began an internship at a law firm, but soon recognised my interest lay in building a venture of my own. This led to the creation of AT LONDON, a luxury mother-and-baby clothing and accessories brand inspired by London’s design culture and modern consumer expectations. The brand focuses on premium craftsmanship, coordinated apparel, and refined lifestyle products. My academic training at Brunel strengthened my understanding of international business, brand protection, and commercial strategy—foundations that continue to guide AT LONDON’s growth and future expansion.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
A typical day involves managing operations, leading creative projects, and ensuring my brand moves forward strategically. I balance product development, content planning, and communication with suppliers and partners. Every day combines legal thinking, creativity, and decision-making, allowing me to apply both my academic background and entrepreneurial skills to build meaningful, high-quality work.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
The highlight of my career has been creating my own brand from the ground up and seeing it evolve into something meaningful. Turning an idea into a real business—supported by customers, creativity, and purpose—has been incredibly rewarding. Watching my work influence and inspire others, especially mothers, is the most fulfilling part of my journey.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
Brunel strengthened my confidence, analytical thinking, and ability to approach challenges with clarity. The supportive academic environment and exposure to real-world legal perspectives shaped the way I communicate, plan, and make decisions. Brunel gave me the foundation to pursue entrepreneurship with discipline and ambition, directly influencing the way I lead and grow my brand today.
Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
I chose Brunel for its strong academic reputation, diverse community, and practical approach to learning. Studying International Commercial Law exposed me to real-world perspectives and exceptional academic support. What is your best memory of studying here?
My best memory of Brunel is the sense of belonging created through supportive lecturers and inspiring classmates. I loved the moments spent in group discussions, exchanging ideas with people from around the world. That atmosphere of motivation and collaboration shaped my confidence and made my academic journey both memorable and transformative.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
My advice is to make the most of Brunel’s opportunities—engage with your lecturers, participate in discussions, and build strong connections. Use this time to explore your strengths and invest in skills beyond the classroom. University passes quickly, so stay curious, stay confident, and trust that every challenge you face now is shaping your future self.
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
As you begin your career, remember that growth takes time. Be open to learning, stay adaptable, and don’t fear starting small. Your Brunel degree has prepared you to think critically and confidently—use that foundation well. Network intentionally, say yes to new experiences, and pursue paths that genuinely inspire you.
