On Monday 20th May, the UK Government’s Open Innovation Team (OIT) will come to campus to deliver a policy masterclass and storytelling for public policy training. These sessions are linked to Brunel’s partnership with the OIT – a cross-government unit that matches academic research to the needs of different Government departments.
The Public Policy Masterclass is a half-day training session that gets you up to speed on the basics of government and policymaking, and how you can get involved.
The Storytelling for Public Policy course is a half-day training session for those who have identified some of their own research with policy relevance to learn how to communicate that research for better policy and research impact.
Spaces on each course will be limited.
Planned timings are: 10am - 16pm. Further details of both courses and a call for applications will be published later in January 2024.
