You have applied - what happens next

We review your application

Once you have submitted your application to Brunel, our Admissions team will review and assess your application as soon as possible. You can keep track of your application status on your MyApplication portal at Brunel.Occasionally our Admissions team will need further information from you if anything in unclear on your application form, they will contact you by email.

Interviews and portfolios

A few courses require an interview or submission of an online portfolio or task. If you’ve applied for one of these courses, you will receive your interview invitation or portfolio instructions by email. For international applicants who are not based in the UK, interviews usually take place on Skype and portfolios are uploaded online.

Receive the outcome of your application

You should receive a decision on your application by email and on your MyApplications portal. If your application is successful you will receive your offer by email. Read your offer carefully as it includes details of any conditions, which you will need to meet before you can join the course at Brunel. You will need to respond to your offer. Find out more about how to accept your offer.

Meet the conditions of your offer

The most common condition of an offer will be an academic condition, such as specific grades you need to achieve in any qualifications you are currently taking. However there may be a number of other conditions you need to meet, including providing an English Language qualification, paying your deposit, completing ATAS (for some courses only) or provide details about any previous study in the UK. Once you’ve met the conditions of your offer, we will be able to provide you with a CAS which you will need to apply for your Visa.

Apply for your Visa

Once you’ve got an unconditional offer, you will be issued with the CAS and you can use this to apply for your Tier 4 Visa.
