For the General Election 2019, Brunel University London was assigned as the vote-counting base for the following constituencies: Uxbridge and South Ruislip Hayes and Harlington Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner On 12 Decempber 2019, we were joined by former Brunel Student Union president Ali Milani (Labour Candidate for Uxbridge and South Ruislip), Mark Keir (Green Candidate for Uxbridge and South Ruislip) and Prime Minister Boris Johnson as the event unfolded. Our Journalism students braoadcasted live and broke the news throughout the night, chaired round-table discussions and directed questions to those attending on the night, via Facebook and Livestream.
