Our Student Ambassador Scheme gives you the opportunity to represent us at various events on and off campus. We are extremely proud of our student ambassadors and the work they do. The scheme has been running for a number of years and gives you the opportunity to represent us to the outside world through a variety of different events and activities.
Campus tours
Our student ambassadors provide the guided campus tours at all our events and give their own unique insight into what Brunel has to offer.
Subject talks
Student ambassadors give talks specifically about their course and what it involves. As well as what they enjoy most, placement opportunities and career plans.
Student life talks
Student ambassadors give talks to visitors about what it is really like to be a student at Brunel.
Higher Education fairs and conventions
Student ambassadors get to travel all over the country to represent the University at HE Fairs and Conventions. They are on the Brunel stand and give advice on courses and student life at Brunel. If you see them at an event near you be sure to quiz them!
Schools liaison
Student ambassadors visit schools and colleges in the local area to talk to students about higher education, sharing their own experiences and giving advice on student life.
It is a wide-ranging scheme that aims to support our student recruitment activities and also encourage young people to enter higher education. As a Brunel student ambassador you will be continually building a bank of work experience through a range of different activities that fit around your own timetable.
We recruit new students to join the scheme at various points throughout the year (particularly at the start of the new academic year) and advertise the vacancy via the Job Shop vacancy pages.
