Biography

Lance Corporal Charles F Tolliday was the son of Frederick and Alice Tolliday. He attended Borough Road College for two years, where he was secretary of the debating society in 1912 and played football. In 1914 he achieved a BA and returned to Borough Road College in 1915, this time as a tutor at Borough Road College. Tolliday served with the 1st/14th Battalion London Regiment, he died on 3 April 1917.
