Biography

Pilot Officer Colin Hubert Curtis was a student at Borough Road College from 1938 to 1940. On 20th of January, 1942 Pilot Officer Curtis and his crew of six went on a bombing raid over the Netherlands. They were shot down by a German pilot over the Dutch coast. Their bodies were never found. In 2017 Pilot Officer Curtis’ nephew, Mike Curtis, publish a book about the incident; Deadlines.
