Biography

Sergeant Eric Leslie Robinson was born 25 February 1894 to Edward and Emily Robinson. He attended Borough Road College for two years, graduating with an Intermediate Sciences qualification. Whilst at the college he also played rugby, representing Borough Road College at the 1913 inter-college sports day. After leaving the college Robinson enlisted into the Royal Field Artillery and was serving with “B” Battery 102nd Brigade. He was 23 when he was killed on 23 May 1917.
