Biography

Gunner Geoffrey Nutter was the son of James and Mary Alice Nutter, he had a brother called Harry. Nutter attended Borough Road College for two years, playing football for the college. After Borough Road College he went straight into active service, signing up on 10 January 1916, which would have been before his studies had officially finished. He died from wounds on 6 February 1917 aged 25. His brother Harry also died on active service and is buried alongside him.
