Biography

Lieutenant Harry Ernest Houldsworth Taylor studied at Borough Road College from 1936 to 1938. White there he was an active member of the Musical Society, playing his violin at many college concerts. After graduation he became a teacher at Alexandra JM in Hounslow. During the war Lieutenant Taylor was assigned to the H.M.S. Nile, a Navel Shore Establishment in Alexandria, Egypt. It is not known how he died. Lieutenant Taylor is remembered at Alexandria (Hadra) War Memorial Cemetery.
