Biography

Private Harry Fisher Brown was the son of Elizabeth and George William Buckby. He attended Borough Road College for two years, and played for the college team during that time. He is then listed as being destined for a teaching post at a school in Finsbury. In September 1914 Buckby joined the Cameron Highlanders. He died at the Battle of Loos on 17 May 1915 aged 27.
