Biography

Lieutenant James Thompson Scott was the son of Mr and Mrs J. Scott. He attended Borough Road College for two years, there is little known about his time at the college, but he did compete in swimming for the college in 1914. After leaving Borough Road College he went straight into active service. Scott was wounded at Polygon Wood on 2 October 1917 and died in hospital on 5 October 1917 after lying in a shell-hole for three days.
