Biography

Private Lancelot Palmer was son of Jonas and Emily Jane Palmer. He attended Borough Road College for two years where he was very academically involved. He passed, with credit, the advanced courses in English, History, Maths, French, and Latin, as well as passing music. He is listed as being destined for a school in Deptford. After leaving the college he enlisted into the 15th Battalion London Regiment, and was killed on 15 September 1916.
