Biography
Rifleman William George Anderson was the son of William Bryson Anderson and Annie Anderson. He attended Borough Road College and had a proficiency in geography, though it is not known if he completed his studies. His destination is listed simply as “killed in action”, whether that was before or after graduation is unclear. Anderson was part of the 12th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, and was killed on 7 June 1917.
