Biography
William Thomas Smart was a member of his church choir before attending Borough Road College from 1898-1900. At the college he undertook and succeeded in several arts subjects. He is listed as being destined for a boarding school in Hallesville, Canning Town, London. He is recorded on the Roll of Honour as ‘missing’ and later believed killed.
