Biography
Private R. N. Averns was the son of Ernest Lloyd and Mary Louisa Averns. He attended Borough Road College though nothing is known about his time at the college or if he even finished his studies. He fought with the 7th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. Averns died from wounds at Rouen on 19 November 1916 aged 20.
