Biography

Lance Corporal Richard Kelly Hornabrook was the son of William James and Emily Hornabrook. He attended Borough Road College for two years, and played cricket. After graduating the college he is listed as being destined for a school in Croydon. He enlisted in Canterbury, into the East Surrey Regiment, 7th Battalion. Hornabrook is listed as “missing presumed killed” in the ROH, his date of death is listed as 30 November 1917.
