Brunel Library will be closed over the Spring Break from 7:00pm on Tuesday, 31 March until 8.30am on Wednesday, 8 April. For full details, please see our opening hours page.
Service Availability
Some services will be limited over Spring Break. However, you can still place requests for books and other items through Click & Collect, Click & Post, and Scan & Send service, as well as interlibrary loans.
For the best chance of receiving items before Spring Break, please order by these deadlines.
- For click & collect and click & post requests: Place requests by Wednesday, 25 March.
- For scan & send requests: Place requests by Tuesday, 24 March.
- For interlibrary loan book requests: Place requests by Monday, 23 March.
- For interlibrary article and chapter requests: Place requests by Monday, 30 March.
You can continue to place requests during the break. We'll start actioning requests when we re-open on Wednesday, 8 April. Please bear with us while we catch up.
Studying from home over Spring Break
Although the Library will be closed, our online resources, including eBooks, eJournals, databases, online learning modules and subject guides, will be available through the break. Remember to log in at the Brunel Library website.
It's important to rest and take some time away from your studies over the break. Why not check out Libby? Libby allows you to access eBooks and audiobooks, including award-winning fiction, biographies and non-fiction titles.
