Want to know what books you’ll need to read for your upcoming modules? You can find reading lists for all your modules on Talis, Brunel’s reading list system. Want to request a book to pick up the next time you're in the library? Make a Click & Collect request on our catalogue. Can't make it to campus? Use our free remote services: Click & Post and Scan & Send. We have a treasure trove of physical and digital resources to help you succeed, including digital databases, ebooks and eJournals. But if there's something you want and we don't have, you can request an Inter Library Loan. All of this is available to you whenever and wherever you are with our Brunel Library App.
But that's only one part of what the library offers. Our Academic Liaison Librarians can provide support with finding and referencing resources. Each subject has their own dedicated Academic Liaison Librarian, and you can email or book an appointment with them. They are also available at the LibSmart point and offer LibSmart workshops on a range of topics from Referencing and Avoiding Plagiarism to Getting Started with Bloomberg and Creating an Effective Poster.
In Welcome Week we'll be offering tours of the Library everyday Monday to Friday at 11am and 2pm. We also have a brand new "Welcome to the Library" video for 2022. And if you forget everything about the library after a very busy Welcome Week that's okay too. We have 24/7 enquiry support, LibGuides and a knowledge bank of answers to over 300 queries.
