Brunel is one of four universities that participate in the Distance Learning programme and we offer a number of IMechE approved master’s distance learning courses for students to study as part of their Further Learning Plan. These plans are a fundamental element in achieving recognition as a Chartered Engineer.
Each of these courses has been approved by the IMechE as satisfying the following requirements:

- Technical Broadening
- Non-Technical Broadening
