All level 2 students have the chance to take the Professional Development module. This helps students to understand more about themselves; their skills and strengths. The module is different to all others on your course in that students help to set the agenda, engaging with setting up how assignments are assessed and taking vital decisions about roles as part of a group.
The module also provides the opportunity to have ‘work experience’ in an aspect of professional work e.g. recording studio, arts administration, local schools, theatres, music therapy, artist management. This has been highly successful over many years and helped shaped our students thinking about their careers as well as providing vital industry contacts.
