Thinking Differently in Hydrogen: Alternatives to Electrolysis

During UK Hydrogen Week (13-17th February), Brunel University London is hosting a series of webinars called 'Thinking Differently in Hydrogen'.

Each day's webinar will focus on a specific hydrogen related topic and will include a talk from a Brunel academic followed by a leading industrial figure developing new technology to help support the growing UK hydrogen economy.

Monday 13th Feb – H2 Living Labs.
Join us to hear from experts, Brunel consultant Dr Jen Baxter and Niall Haughian of Hywaves

Tuesday 14th Feb – Hydrogen Combustion
Join the conversation with Brunel's Dr Xinyan Wang and Michael Goodisman of Lifting Gas Ltd.

Wednesday 15th Feb – Hydrogen Policy
Professor Justin Fisher, Director of Brunel Public Policy unit will be joined by Richard Wrigley of Beta Technologies to discuss Policy in relation to hydrogen.

Thursday 16th Feb – Alternatives to Electrolysis
Join Brunel's Dr Shervan Babamohammadi and Stuart McKnight of Suiso to find out how hydrogen can be produced without electrolysis.

Friday 17th Feb – Hydrogen Transport and Storage
To fulfil its potential, hydrogen must be stored and transported safely and cost-effectively. Stephen Kyle-Henney of TISICS and Brunel's Michael White discuss how this can be achieved.

The webinars are free to attend and will be held every day at 1pm over Zoom.

Each webinar will be chaired by Dr Alexander Reip, Brunel University London's Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence.

Attendees will be able to ask questions and interact with experts in the field.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about hydrogen and its potential applications in the UK.
