Brunel Volunteer Award

The Brunel Volunteer Award celebrates your incredible and invaluable contributions to the community.

At our annual awards dinner, we have the pleasure of celebrating, acknowledging, and expressing gratitude to the exceptional and dedicated volunteers who have made positive contributions throughout the academic year. The awards ceremony provides us with an opportunity to show our appreciation and extend well-deserved recognition and awards to these individuals.

Receiving an award not only adds value to your CV but also enhances your employment prospects. It instils a sense of purpose and accomplishment within you, and it becomes an experience that you can proudly highlight during any future job interview. If you have met the required hours of volunteering, you will be presented with an award at our prestigious Volunteers Awards Dinner, which takes place in late May or early June and follows a captivating theme.

If you are a full-time undergraduate enrolled at Brunel from September 2016, your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), a formal degree transcript that lists students’ curricular and extra-curricular achievements, will automatically include your Brunel Volunteer Award.

Volunteers Awards Dinner

The BV Awards is a special event to celebrate our students volunteering journey.

There are three stages to the Brunel Volunteers Award: Bronze (25+ hours), Silver (50+ hours) and Gold (100+ hours). We also provide special awards to the student who has achieved the highest number of volunteering hours and to the student who has contributed greatly to our volunteering community.

Please note that only students who have achieved the required volunteering hours and have accepted the invitation to attend the awards ceremony will be presented with a physical award for their Silver or Gold achievements (Bronze winners will receive a certificate).

Awards will only be distributed to attendees of the awards ceremony. Those who have met the qualifying hours but are unable to attend the awards ceremony will receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold certificate only. Additionally, for all undergraduate degree participants, volunteering achievements will be recorded onto your H.E.A.R. transcript.
