Human Appeal is a non-profit organisation working to strengthen humanity’s fight against poverty, social injustice, and natural disaster across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The organisation works on healthcare, education, and livelihood programmes in order to build empowered, self-serving communities whilst also providing food, medical aid, and disaster relief during emergencies.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will help to raise funds for Human Appeal which will go towards medical packs, clean water projects, education, orphan sponsorship, and so on. As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will gain many benefits such as you will develop community fundraising and awareness skills, you will also enhance your teamwork and collaboration skills.
Typical duties include:
- Fundraising online to support a Human Appeal project of your choice
- Raising awareness of global issues by sharing Human Appeal media with your networks
- Recruiting friends and family to join your fundraising campaign
- Working closely with the Volunteers Team or Fundraising staff on a weekly basis
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
