We work nationally and in local communities through our 650 churches and community centres throughout the UK and Ireland, to serve those who most need our help. We work with decision-makers to ensure the views of vulnerable people are heard. We also support international development projects.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
What you’ll be doing:
- Attend Parent & Toddler Groups
- Help with setup and clearing for toddler group
- Helping with Arts & Crafts
- Assisting with Refreshments
Skills Required:
- Regular commitment to activities, aims and objectives of the Salvation Army
- Ability to keep confidences
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children/adults and a willingness to raise concerns where necessary
- Good face-to-face skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good listening skills and ability to take direction
