Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a community hospice providing clinical, emotional, and practical support to families of children and young people with life-limiting / life-threatening conditions in the North London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington, and Hertsmere.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will be vital in helping to sort donated goods, restock the shop floor, and serve customers which is essential for raising funds to support Noah’s Ark Families. As a Retail Assistant, you will acquire skills such as product knowledge, inventory management, and communication skills.
Typical duties include:
- Operating the till and dealing with various methods of payment
- Being aware of the security of the shop
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well stocked
- Promoting public understanding of the work of Noah’s Ark and the importance of raising funds
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
