The Farsi Action Foundation (FAF) is a charity based in the UK, with a focus on addressing critical issues in various domains such as education, human rights, equality, mental health, integration, cultural preservation, and antisocial behaviour. The organisation actively engages in initiatives to assist immigrants from Afghanistan, facilitating their transition and integration into their new communities.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the fundraising team, playing a crucial role in securing funding to the organisation`s initiatives. As a Fundraising assistant, you will develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership. 

Typical duties include:

  • Conducting research and assessing the the eligibility criteria to identify potential grant opportunities suitable for FAF's initiatives
  • Collaborating with team members to gather necessary information and data for grant applications
  • Writing compelling grant proposals tailored to the requirements of each funding opportunity
  • Submitting grant applications within deadlines and following up on progress as needed

Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
