Empower Arts aims to empower vulnerable young people to become more powerful through different performing art forms. The organisation offers summer camps where children take part in different activities to create a show, allowing them to express themselves, feel comfortable, and be out of their comfort zones in a nurturing way.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will assist in maintaining active social media accounts. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will acquire problem-solving, creativity, content creation, marketing strategy, strategic planning, and customer service skills.
Typical duties include:
- Scheduling and planning social media content
- Researching and creating creative content for different social media channels
- Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local community groups
- Developing social media strategies to amplify the exposure of Empower Arts
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
