The Compass Theatre provides residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon with subsidized culture and arts spaces and venues, for producers of public art activity which is for the artistic or educational benefit of Hillingdon residents, on a non-profit basis.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will aid and support patrons attending theatrical performances or other events at a theatre, helping to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for the audience from the moment they arrive until they leave the theatre. As a Theatre Usher, you will enhance your customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
Typical duties include:
- Checking tickets and guiding the audience to their assigned seats
- Helping audience with special needs
- Ensuring aisles and stairs remain unobstructed
- Inform the FoH (Front of House) Manager of any problem audience members may need help with
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
