Hillingdon Library service invites everyone to share and enjoy our passion for reading, our commitment to providing trusted information, and enriching and empowering our communities.

- Provide access to up-to-date, unbiased, and reliable information
- Present opportunities for independent lifelong learning
- Offer excellent customer care in attractive, welcoming, and accessible libraries
- Be innovative with technology and the internet, allowing library users to access our services and communicate with us in a variety of ways
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
One-off drop-in session as a taster to see how much interest is shown lasting for 90 minutes. If proves popular would like to do a session more regularly.
For residents to bring their laptops to West Drayton Library and receive help on how to do various tasks including attaching documents to email and web pages, organizing files, password management, creating online accounts, and understanding basic cyber security.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and webmail
- Ability to explain tasks simply and clearly
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to be flexible
