Empower Arts - Volunteer Summer Camp Assistant

Details of the Charity:

Our aim is to empower young people to become more powerful through different performing art forms. During our summer camp, the children will be taking part in different activities to create a show. We want all young people to express themselves, feel comfortable and help bring them out of their comfort zones in a nurturing way. We are an inclusive company, in particular focusing on vulnerable children who may not have opportunities like this normally.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

Empower Arts will be offering fun, engaging and free activities for disadvantaged children ages 5-13 years during the summer holidays. Our summer camp will be taking place from 1st-25th August, 9 am-3 pm, Monday – Thursday. Our students will be taking part in Singing, Dancing, Drama and Arts and Crafts, creating a show to be performed to an audience at the end. The Summer Camp will be split into 2 weeks, meaning children will have 2 weeks to create a show! This is an in-person job, taking place in Northolt, with performances taking place in Hanwell.
