WORLDwrite - Media-Maker Volunteer

Worldwrite is a charity providing access to gear and tuition to individuals from across the world and around the corner that has something new to say. The organisation promotes craft well-shot programmes that push boundaries, question the way the world is, and encourage a global outlook, critical understanding, and aspirations for the best for all.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will discuss, plan, vote on, and work in crews for change-making programmes, shows, or short films. As a Media-Maker Volunteer, you will gain hands-on experience in media production, learn how to craft compelling narratives and stories, while improving your teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Facilitating training sessions and managing logistics for on-location shooting
  • Planning and coordinating fundraising events, ensuring a smooth experience for participants
  • Promoting events to generate interest and participation through marketing and outreach
  • Providing ongoing mentorship and support to interns throughout their internships

Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
