Summary
Caroline Rodrigues Silva is a Lecturer in Organisation and People at Brunel University London. With over a decade of research experience, she works at the intersections of gender, race, and class, grounded in intersectional feminist and decolonial perspectives. Her recent work examines sexism in organisations, domestic violence, and accountability in cases of sexual harassment in universities, with a particular focus on the Brazilian context. Beyond academia, Caroline has extensive experience as a diversity educator, consultant, and keynote speaker, advising companies on racial and gender inclusion and leading projects in education and the third sector to prevent and address gender-based violence and racism. Her work bridges critical scholarship and practice, aiming to advance equity, accountability, and social transformation.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Business Administration at FGV EAESP, specializing in the prevention and confrontation of violence intersected by gender, race, and class.
- Visiting researcher at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on Diversity.
- Master’s in Critical Discourse Analysis with an emphasis on gender issues in organizations from the University of Espírito Santo.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management (public and private sectors) from the Federal University of São João del Rei.
