Dr Cristina Stoian
Senior Lecturer

Eastern Gateway 202M

Summary

I am Senior Lecturer in International Business and Director of Postgraduate Research. My research is in the areas of International Business, Entrepreneurship and International Marketing Strategies in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Within these areas, I have published articles in leading academic journals and received Best Paper awards at the British Academy of Management Conference (International Business and International Management track).

I have long-standing relationships with the entrepreneurial community in the UK and abroad as well as with trade institutions such as the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where I am a member of their International Trade Committee, and The Institute of Export and International Trade. This has led to publications in professional journals advising SME business managers on internationalisation strategies.
