Summary
I am Professor of Operations Management with the Operations and Information Systems Management (OISM) research group at Brunel Business School, and College Vice Dean Education for Brunel Business School.
From 2017 through 2023 I served as Vice Dean (Research) for the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences (CBASS), then briefly (2024-25) as BBS Associate Head. I moved to Brunel in 2006, where I became Reader in Operations Management and Enterprise in 2010 and then Professor of Operations Management in 2015. I served as Associate Head of the Brunel Business School between 2015 and 2017, was appointed College Vice Dean (Research) in July 2017, and College Vice Dean Education in March 2025.
Research and knowledge transfer expertise centres around sustainability considerations applied to stakeholder relationships in operations networks and value/supply chains. My work explores the determinants and facilitators of stakeholder partnership. It seeks to understand the mechanisms through which corporate social responsibility and circularity can be embedded and sustained, with a particular focus on inter-organisational knowledge transfer, stakeholder engagement and social capital and social value, and enabling digital technologies and data analytics.
