My reseaerch expertise lies in operations, supply chain and quality management, with a particular focus on sustainability issues, relationships, corporate responsibility and knowledge transfer, and my research has been supported through European Commission and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants grants. Specific research interests are:

• Sustainability issues and corporate responsibility in supply chain partnerships
• Embedding and sustaining Total Quality Management (TQM) / Business Excellence as a management approach
• Supply chain purchasing strategy and buyer-supplier relationships
• Knowledge transfer in supply chain relationships
• The link between operations strategy, business strategy and firm performance (with a particular focus on strategic and operational issues in SMEs)
