I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Business (fractional appointment). My research focuses on internationalisation processes and foreign market entry strategies of multinational enterprises. My teaching lies in the areas of international business, strategic management and entrepreneurship.
I have published in top-tier and leading international business and general management academic journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, British Journal of Management, Management International Review, International Business Review, International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Industrial Marketing Management, among others. Furthermore, I have acted as Track-Chair of leading academic conferences, while I am active ad-hoc reviewer for a number of highly-rated academic journals in the area of international business and general management.
In terms of impact and outreach, I have established strong ties with the industry, especially in the market of Greece, where I regularly advise pre-seed stage startups on issues revolving around business model formulation, proof of concept and demand validation, while I am frequently invited as speaker in practitioners’ executive seminars and as a mentor and judge in leading national and international startup competitions (e.g., Disrupt Greece, EGG by Eurobank, VISA Innovation Program, among others).
