Summary
Hayley is a part time PhD researcher in the Scool of Health Sciences, supervised by Professor Ann Gallagher and Dr Wendy Martin. Her research explores how paramedics sustain ethical and effective practice in an era of heightened scruitine and oversight.
Her work aims to generate evidence-informed strategies to support sustainable and ethical practice, and contribute to debate on accountability and governance in emergency care.
Hayley has over a decade of expreience a registered paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), both in clinical practice in an NHS Ambulance Service focusing on Urgent Care and in academia as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey, bringing her clinical expertise and academic experience together.
