Summary

I joined the London School of Occupational Therapy team at Brunel in August 2023 on a teaching and research contract after teaching for six years at Oxford Brookes University. My clinical background includes paediatric occupational therapy in a variety of settings, such as children's centres, hospital wards, mainstream and special needs schools, as well as work with adults with head injury and spinal injury. My most recent clinical practice was as Specialist OT for patients with a rare neurological condition (NMOSD) at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford (2025).  My PhD (2019) completed under the supervision of Prof Maria Horne, Prof Mohammed A Mohammed and Dr Sally Barber, focused on ethnic differences in sedentary behaviour and physical activity among White British and South Asian children within the Born in Bradford study
