Summary
Jahangir is a dedicated academic with a strong clinical foundation in Occupational Therapy. His professional journey spans diverse clinical and educational settings across both Eastern and Western contexts, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of practice and pedagogy.
Before his current academic role, Jahangir served as Lead Occupational Therapist with the NHS in London. He also contributed to higher education as an External Lecturer at the University of Essex and City St George’s University of London.
Jahangir’s academic interests include mental health, disability accessibility, the role of Occupational Therapists in low- and middle-income countries, and interprofessional education. He is passionate about cultivating evidence-based practice and promoting the integration of Occupational Therapy within global health and education systems.
