Writing a PhD under the supervision of Dr Solon Solomon and with the provisional title 'The Universal Right to Dignity: A Critical Discussion on the Creation and Use of the LGBT+ Image in World Cinema' Nikolaos  Chantzis comes to BUL after having obtained his LLB from Brunel University of London and his LLM from City University of London. He has served as a research assistant at the University of Athens, presented in international conferences and his research interest in the field of cinema has been tangibly expressed through his latest book and film released in 2025 under the title ‘Déjà vu: A Modern Greek Tragedy
