Mr Ramin Behbehani
Lecturer (Education)

Eastern Gateway 103

I am a lecturer in the Operations and Information Systems Management (OISM) research group at Brunel Business School. After over a decade of executive experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry as an engineer, I was drawn back to higher education. I joined the University of Strathclyde to do my Master's in Business and Management, which led to PhD research in Operations Management and opportunities for teaching within the department. My prior executive experience continues to inform my research and my teaching both. As a lecturer, I continually seek to make my teaching relevant to the managers of the future and make them ready for the challenges they will face in contemporary business settings. I always bring fun aspects to my classes and utilise new technologies to support learning and enhance student engagement. My research mainly focuses on exploring and expanding the social side of operations management and more contemporary aspects of organisational performance such as sustainability, green supply chain and green policies.
